Chatsworth International School
Chatsworth International School
Chatsworth International School is one of Singapore’s long-established K–13 international schools, offering a holistic education for students aged 3 to 18. Since 1995, its mission to Inspire, Educate and Enlighten has shaped a personalised, nurturing learning culture where students feel supported to become their best selves. As a recognised IB World School, Chatsworth delivers all three core IB programmes, encouraging students to take ownership of their learning while developing the adaptability and global mindset needed for the future. With a community representing over 55 nationalities and strong teacher–student ratios across year levels, the school maintains an intimate feel. Language learning is central to the IB pathway, with English as the main instructional language and additional options in Mandarin, French, mother-tongue pathways, and Spanish ab initio in the IBDP. The Bukit Timah campus—surrounded by greenery and near the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve—offers a well-rounded environment that supports academics, arts, sport, and student wellbeing. Facilities include science labs, design and art rooms, music studios, a blackbox theatre, makerspace, library, sports hall, swimming pool, football pitch, basketball courts, playgrounds, and a central hall for community events. The school’s ~60 CCAs further broaden students’ experiences, reinforcing a balanced and international education in a close-knit setting.

Academic Excellence
Chatsworth International School offers a fully integrated IB pathway from early years through graduation. Its international kindergarten (K1–K2) uses an IB PYP–aligned, inquiry- and play-based curriculum designed for ages 3 to 5, supported by thoughtfully designed indoor–outdoor learning spaces. The Primary School (Years 1–6) continues with the IB PYP, using a differentiated approach to meet individual learning needs. In Secondary (Years 7–11), students follow the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), gaining broad academic foundations and interdisciplinary skills. The final two years (Years 12–13) culminate in the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP), a globally recognised qualification that prepares students for university entry worldwide. Graduates also earn the WASC-accredited Chatsworth High School Diploma. The school further supports academic ambition through IB scholarships for students who show strong scholarship, commitment, and community engagement.
Beyond Classroom
Chatsworth offers a well-rounded student experience that extends far beyond academic study. Each school year is divided into three seasons, and in every season students can choose from 40+ CCAs and team sports. The mix is deliberately broad — languages, STEM clubs, recreational sports, performing arts, and teacher- or student-led activities all sit side by side. In secondary, options widen further, with opportunities such as Model United Nations, photography, the Phoenix Times publication, fitness, dance, school band, and rock band. Sport has a strong competitive pathway through ACSIS, the Athletic Conference of Singapore International Schools. Chatsworth has been an active member — and Vice-Chairperson — since 2011. Through ACSIS, students from Year 3 to Year 13 compete against more than 30 international schools in basketball, badminton, football, cross country, swimming, ultimate frisbee, touch rugby, and netball across the three annual seasons. The emphasis is on sportsmanship and fair opportunity: if a student commits to a sport, the school works hard to field them in a team appropriate to their age group. Outdoor learning also plays a central role. In primary, residential trips from Year 4 to Year 6 — ranging from one to three nights — give students a safe but meaningful chance to build independence, confidence, and collaboration. In secondary, the much-anticipated Curriculum Enhancement Week (CEW) takes learning beyond the classroom entirely. Students explore new environments, take on outdoor challenges, and deepen connections with peers and teachers. Together, these experiences shape a school culture where students grow socially, physically, and emotionally — not just academically.
