Academic Excellence

One World International School (OWIS) offers a globally recognised education pathway built on the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Cambridge International frameworks, combining academic excellence with inquiry-based learning and global awareness. In the Primary Years (Ages 3–11), students follow the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), underpinned by the English National Curriculum to ensure age-appropriate learning outcomes. This programme encourages curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking while laying a strong academic foundation. The IB PYP is offered at both OWIS Nanyang and OWIS Digital Campus, with OWIS Newton set to align with the same curriculum. In Lower Secondary (Grades 6–8), OWIS offers a modified Cambridge curriculum based on the Cambridge Lower Secondary framework, adapted to suit an international context. This unique blend combines the inquiry-based learning and learner profile of the IB with the structured, skill-focused Cambridge approach, easing the transition into higher grades. Grades 9–10 follow the Cambridge IGCSE programme, helping students deepen subject mastery and analytical thinking while fostering independence and academic discipline. In Grades 11–12, students undertake the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), preparing them for university and beyond. This challenging yet flexible curriculum allows learners to explore their interests, develop critical thinking, and build a strong foundation for success in higher education and global citizenship. Both OWIS Nanyang and OWIS Digital Campus are accredited for the IB PYP, Cambridge IGCSE, and IBDP, offering a seamless continuum of international education across Singapore.

Beyond Classroom

At One World International School (OWIS), students are encouraged to explore their passions, build confidence, and develop essential life skills through a dynamic Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) programme that complements academic learning. From sports and performing arts to STEM and leadership, OWIS offers diverse opportunities designed to nurture well-rounded, curious, and active learners. The Multi-Sports ECA introduces children to activities such as football, basketball, rugby, athletics, martial arts, and dodgeball, helping them build coordination, teamwork, and a lifelong love for being active. Programmes like Parkour, Yoga, Karate, and Rhythmic Gymnastics (Balance Academy) promote strength, agility, and focus in a fun, supportive environment. For young innovators, Robotics and Coding Clubs engage students with hands-on learning through Lego WeDo, Mindstorms, BBC Microbits, and sensor-based projects, encouraging problem-solving and creativity in technology. The Junior Football programme develops both foundational and advanced technical skills, fostering teamwork and sportsmanship. Music enthusiasts can join the Junior Orchestra, open to all abilities, where students collaborate, perform, and develop musicality through school concerts. Creativity and expression are celebrated through Creative Drama, where students explore storytelling, empathy, and imagination through structured play. Learners in Grades 7–9 can participate in Model United Nations (MUN), gaining experience in diplomacy, research, and debate at local and international conferences, while the OWIS Debate Club builds confidence and leadership through public speaking and critical thinking — with IBDP students taking on mentoring roles.
